Laura’s passion has always been animals. She began her journey in high school, volunteering at her local shelter and working as a dog walker and sitter.
Driven by her love for animals, Laura then continued her journey with a nine year tenure as a veterinary receptionist at a local veterinary clinic. Though she was able to assist many pets and their owners, she desired to do more.
Then, in 2021, Laura embarked on her dog training journey, attending the Top Tier K9 school for dog trainers. She completed the pet trainer certification course and began her career as a professional dog trainer.
Since, Laura has honed her dog training skills working at various dog training companies in North Carolina and Illinois, gaining hands-on experience in private lessons and board & trains. She also continually seeks to further her knowledge by completing various courses, including E-Collar Training, Leash Reactivity, and Rescue to Home.
Laura believes the key to improving the relationship between dog and owner is to take a balanced approach, keeping training positive and fun.
